Confidentiality Commitment

Last updated: July 2024

1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At Districall AI ("we," "our," or "us"), safeguarding the confidentiality of your information is a cornerstone of our service. This Confidentiality Commitment outlines how we protect your data, particularly when you grant us access to sensitive information, such as your Google Calendar, or use other features of our platform that handle potentially confidential data.

We are dedicated to maintaining your trust by handling your data with the utmost care and transparency.

2. Core Confidentiality Principles

  • Your Data is Private: We treat all information you provide or generate through our platform as confidential. This includes personal details, business information, and any data processed by our AI.
  • No Unauthorized Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your confidential information with third parties for their marketing or other independent purposes. Sharing only occurs if explicitly requested or authorized by you (e.g., when you choose to integrate our service with a third-party application).
  • Purpose Limitation: Data collected is used strictly for providing and improving our services to you, as outlined in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

3. Google Calendar Data

When you grant Districall AI access to your Google Calendar, we understand the sensitivity of this information. Our access and use of your Google Calendar data are strictly limited:

  • Explicit Consent: We only access your Google Calendar data after you provide explicit consent through Google's OAuth interface. You can see exactly what permissions are being requested.
  • Limited Scope: We request the minimum necessary permissions to provide specific features, such as scheduling appointments or checking availability, as initiated by you.
  • No Unauthorized Use: Your Google Calendar data is used exclusively for the features you have authorized. We do not scan your calendar for unrelated purposes, nor do we share its contents with third parties, except as required to perform the service you requested (e.g., sending a calendar invite to an address you specify).
  • Revocable Access: You can revoke our access to your Google Calendar at any time through your Google account settings. Upon revocation, we will no longer be able to access your calendar data.

Further details on how we handle Google user data are available in Section 6A of our Privacy Policy.

4. Other Platform Data

Beyond Google Calendar, our platform may handle other information that you consider confidential, such as customer interaction data, business strategies discussed during AI-assisted calls, or internal operational details.

All such information is subject to the same high standards of confidentiality. We employ robust security measures to protect this data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

5. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your confidential information. These include, but are not limited to, data encryption, access controls, regular security assessments, and secure infrastructure. More details about our security practices can be found in our Privacy Policy.

6. User Control and Transparency

We believe in transparency and user control. You have rights regarding your data, including access, rectification, and deletion, as detailed in our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for a comprehensive understanding of our data practices.
